colour filters for optical sensors

Acrylic glass has no inherent colour, so it is absolutely colourless. This is why colours can be represented very purely. Hesaglas is cast in a special process. The sheets have no stresses and are therefore free of birefringence effects (optically isotropic).

With optical sensors, the aim is to filter out as much of the non-relevant light spectrum as possible. Red or IR open black filters are often used for this purpose.

display covers

Hesaglas display covers offer distortion-free displays. The narrow thickness tolerances also make them well suited for touch displays.

3 different satin finishes offer the right anti-reflective properties for every application. The good chemical resistance offers protection even in difficult environments. For the highest demands, we also offer a polysiloxane hardcoating for even better scratch resistance and chemical resistance.

model making

Our precision acrylic glass is popular for model making, especially architectural model making.

Since the material is stress-free, it is easy to work with. The many available thicknesses and colours enable precise and impressive buildings. Shapes can be worked out by CNC milling or laser and glued cleanly.
